Bio: Shelley is currently the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Community Credit Union with over 8 years HR experience in the financial industry. She is a graduate from Rollins College with a BA in Organizational Behavior and a Masters in Human Resources. She has also attained a MBA from Webster University and is currently an adjunct instructor at the university. She is a long time member of SHRM, the past Treasurer of SBSHRM, Central Florida Compensation and Benefits Association (CFCBA), WorldatWork and American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). Recently, Shelley also became a member of the LEAD Brevard board.

Bio: Rochelle has over 18 years experience in Human Resources focusing on Management Training, Small Business Human Resources and Federal Contract HR. She holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification by SHRM. She is Past President of the South Brevard SHRM chapter, former BOD member of SCHRA, and a member of SHRM national. Rochelle has coordinated SHRM Certification preparation classes and instructed the SHRM Essentials of HR course. As Training Director and HR Consultant for HR Solutions Group LLP, she developed training programs for many local companies and organizations including Brevard Community College, the Job Link, Hotel Corporations, Manufacturing Companies and Community Outreach programs for displaced workers.

Bio: Diane Cardinale has over 20 years of human resource experience in the Brevard County area for employers like Rockwell-Collins, JDS Uniphase Inc., and Spectrum Microwave. Diane has an associates’ degree in business from Brevard Community College and she obtained her PHR certification in 2001. Diane has been a long standing member of SHRM and SBSHRM. She has served on the board of directors for SBSHRM on two different occasions as the V.P. of Membership.

Bio: John has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, most as the senior manager for institutions of higher education. In 2007, he decided to leave New England and move to Central Florida. In this process, he left Franklin Pierce University and joined RPA Inc. As a Senior Consultant, he assists colleges and universities in their search for senior officers. He is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, TN and completed the human resources certificate program at Bentley University in Waltham, MA.

Bio: Elizabeth is currently the Career Service Representative for Everest University in Melbourne, FL. She has been involved with SHRM for the last 2 years, both in Tallahassee and Brevard County and has been working with Human Resource Professionals for the last 3 years. She holds an Associates Degree in Education, 3 Bachelors Degree’s in Humanities, English Literature, and Religion from the University of Central Florida, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Business with a concentration in Organizational Management.

Bio: Beverly has over 15 years experience of human resources management experience in the healthcare, high technology and insurance business arenas. She has a Senior Professional Human Resources certification from SHRM and a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Currently, she is a HR consultant with Gevity, a professional employer organization. She is responsible for serving the HR needs of over 75 small and medium-sized businesses. Beverly is a monthly contributor to Global Strategic Management Solutions' newsletter.

Bio: Pam is a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist with DRS Sensors & Targeting Systems- Optronics Division, here in Palm Bay, FL. She has been a national member of SHRM for over 10 years. Before moving to Brevard County, Pam was a member of the Dulles Corridor’s SHRM chapter in Northern, VA and was a member of their Northern VA, Executive Recruiters Roundtable. Pam has been a member of SBSHRM organization since 2004. Prior to working for DRS, Pam owned her own Recruitment consulting company working for such fortune 500 companies as, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Deloitte & Touche, Northrop Grumman and Cannon to name a few. She is also a member of ASTD, NAPS, NACE and LEAD Brevard. Pam is currently pursuing her BA in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources at Columbia College. Once she completes her BA Pam plans on attending Webster University to obtain her MBA.

Bio: Pamela has over 13 years of human resources experience in recruitment and retention, human capital management, absence and disability management and diversity training. She earned her Senior Professional Human Resources certification from SHRM in 2008 and held a Professional Human Resources certification for 9 years prior. Pamela first joined SHRM in 1997. She has worked in the aviation, healthcare, defense and insurance industries. Pamela has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and completed her junior year toward a B.S. degree in Nursing at the University of Central Florida. Her personal interests are U.S. government affairs, exercising at the gym and the natural environment.

Bio: Joy is a Sr. HR Generalist for Intersil Corporation with responsibilities over East coast engineering design centers, IT, and Marketing. Joy has her BBA from the University of Miami with an emphasis in HR Management and Finance and attained her MBA through UCF's Executive Development Center. She has had HR exposure at Nordstrom, Orlando Regional Healthcare System, and Experian Credit Bureau. She is actively involved in Big Brother Big Sister of Central Florida.

Bio: Faith currently serves as the Military Family Employment Advocate for Brevard Job Link. Previously she served as a counselor for at risk students at a high school in Albuquerque, and prior to that she served on active duty in the USAF. Faith holds a Business Management degree from the University of Maryland, with specialties in Asian studies and Computers. Other offices held include Treasurer, Friends of the Airman’s Center, and Coordinator, 920th Reserve Squadron spouses group.

Bio: Dona Gaynor is the Director of Career Services and Cooperative Education at the Florida Institute of Technology where she manages services to assist students and alumni with job search skills and career path development and assists employers with new graduate recruitment. Dona has a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. She is currently the Past President of the Florida Career Professionals Association (FCPA) and is active in the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). In her free time, Dona is a Tai Chi Instructor at the Wah Lum Kung Fu and Tai Chi School of Melbourne.

Bio: Andrew has previously served as President, Vice President of Programs and has been a member of the SBSHRM and National SHRM for approximately 10 years. Andy works with the law firm Ford & Harrison in Melbourne. He represents private and public employers in all areas of employment and labor. He regularly represents employers in employment and labor related lawsuits in state and federal courts and in investigations and charges before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, the U.S. Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board, the National Mediation Board, and the Florida Public Employees Relations Commission. He holds the highest rating assigned by Martindale-Hubbell and is Florida Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law. He is also a charter member of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys.

Bio: Jacqueline is the Human Resource Manager for Fiserv Lending Solutions. She received her MA in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from Regions University and her BA from The Union Institute and University; with a dual BA degree in Business Management and Legal Studies. Jacqueline also received her PHR certification in May 2002 and is a national SHRM member. Jacqueline has been in Human Resources for over ten years.
Programs Assistant
Name: Sandie Almond

Bio: Sandie has worked as a Human Resources Manager-Generalist for Symetrics since 2006 and has over 17 years experience in the Human Resources field. For most of her HR career, she worked for Disney in Guest Relations as a trainer, VIP tour guide and seminar facilitator, as the front desk manager at one of Disney’s hotels and eventually became a recruiter in Disney Casting. In 2000, Sandie was the HR Manager for Marriott International and then in 2004 she moved back to Melbourne and became the Operations Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott. She earned a BA degree in Interpersonal Communications and Psychology from the University of Central Florida and she is currently working on towards her SPHR and will take the test in January 2009.

Bio: Blake has gained experience in workforce management software and services for the past 7 years at Automatic Data Processing and serves over 400 clients in Brevard County. He received his BS in Economics and Business through Florida State University and is a local graduate of Satellite High School. He has been married for ten years, has three kids, and one mortgage. His hobbies include concerts, sporting events, and boating/fishing.

Bio: Ron recently transitioned from the US Air Force after 27 years of service. The last 10 years of his career were spent as a HR Manager/director at progressively larger organizations, culminating at the Headquarters USAF, Pentagon. In this capacity he has served in the Philippines, England, Germany, Sicily, Sardinia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and across the United States. Ron holds a Masters degree in Aviation/Aerospace Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Bachelors degree in Management and Human Resource from Park University and two Associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force. He is currently studying for the PHR and is looking for a HR position in the South Brevard region. In his spare time, he is a coach for West Melbourne little league baseball and plays for the Calvary Chapel Men’s softball league.

She is currently Manager of Client Services and HR Consulting for Strategic Insurance Management. Judy is certified by the Society for Human Resources Management as a Professional in Human Resources and is a graduate of Morgantown Business College. Memberships include the National Association for Female Executives, National Society for Human Resource Management and Past Treasurer for South Brevard Society for Human Resource Management.

Bio: Donna is the Human Resources Director at HealthSouth Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital in Melbourne. Donna has her BBA from Eastern Michigan University. She has achieved "Life Certification" SPHR status and was originally certified in 1995. She has previously served as President, President Elect and Secretary of SBSHRM and is a past president of the Treasure Coast Human Resources Association. In 2006 she was conference chair of the Space Coast HR Conference. In 2007 she served on the Florida State Council. She has been in the Human Resources profession for 29 years.
