Shelley is currently the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Community Credit Union of Florida with over 9 years HR experience in the financial industry. She is a graduate from Rollins College with a BA in Organizational Behavior and a Masters in Human Resources. She has also attained a MBA from Webster University and is currently an adjunct instructor at the university. She is a long time member of SHRM, the past Treasurer of SBSHRM, Central Florida Compensation and Benefits Association (CFCBA), WorldatWork and American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). Shelley is also a LEAD Brevard board member.
Rochelle has over 17 years experience in Human Resources focusing on Management Training, Small Business Human Resources and Federal Contract HR. She holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification by SHRM. She is Past President of the South Brevard SHRM chapter, former BOD member of SCHRA, and a member of SHRM national. Rochelle has coordinated SHRM Certification preparation classes and instructed the SHRM Essentials of HR course. As Training Director and HR Consultant for HR Solutions Group LLP, she developed training programs for many local companies and organizations including Brevard Community College, the Job Link, Hotel Corporations, Manufacturing Companies and Community Outreach programs for displaced workers.
Judy has over 14 years of progressive Human Resources experience involving healthcare, manufacturing, and government agencies focusing on general Human Resource Administration and Compliance. She is currently Manager of Client Services and HR Consulting for Strategic Insurance Management. Judy is certified by the Society for Human Resources Management as a Professional in Human Resources and is a graduate of Morgantown Business College. Memberships include the National Association for Female Executives, National Society for Human Resource Management and Past Treasurer for South Brevard Society for Human Resource Management.
Paul has been a member of SBSHRM for several years. He is certified as a Chartered Financial Consultant and has Served two terms as local chapter President of Florida Association of Health Underwriters (FAHU). Paul has also served as the Treasurer for one year, Secretary for 5 years and Vice President for one year of FAHU.
Connie “Liz” Figueroa has over 20 years experience in management with a focus in Human Resources. A native Floridian, Liz has held many leadership roles in industries such as healthcare, information systems, construction and customer service, most recently as a manager of a human resource department. Her passion for human resources is evident by the many awards she has received, including, President’s Merit award, Quality in Action and winner of the Best Cross-Functional Team. Liz holds a master’s degree in Human Resources from Rollins College, Winter Park, Fl. and was in the first graduating class with the M.H.R. degree from that institution. Her bachelor’s degree is in Business from Florida Southern College, Lakeland, FL. She is a long term member of SHRM and is serving on the Board of Directors as VP of Membership. Also she is a member of Space Coast Human Resource Association, Toastmaster’s International and Junior League of Orlando. Liz, her husband and their 4-legged children live in the Brevard county area.
Sandie has worked as a Human Resources Manager-Generalist for Symetrics since 2006 and has over 17 years experience in the Human Resources field. For most of her HR career, she worked for Disney in Guest Relations as a trainer, VIP tour guide and seminar facilitator, as the front desk manager at one of Disney?s hotels and eventually became a recruiter in Disney Casting. In 2000, Sandie was the HR Manager for Marriott International and then in 2004 she moved back to Melbourne and became the Operations Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott. She earned a BA degree in Interpersonal Communications and Psychology from the University of Central Florida and earned her PHR certification in January 2009.
Diane Cardinale has over 20 years of human resource experience in the Brevard County area for employers like Rockwell-Collins, JDS Uniphase Inc., and Spectrum Microwave. Diane has an associates? degree in business from Brevard Community College and she obtained her PHR certification in 2001. Diane has been a long standing member of SHRM and SBSHRM. She has served on the board of directors for SBSHRM on two different occasions as the V.P. of Membership.
Joy is a Sr. HR Generalist for Intersil Corporation with responsibilities over East coast engineering design centers, IT, and Marketing. Joy has her BBA from the University of Miami with an emphasis in HR Management and Finance and attained her MBA through UCF's Executive Development Center. She has had HR exposure at Nordstrom, Orlando Regional Healthcare System, and Experian Credit Bureau. She is actively involved in Big Brother Big Sister of Central Florida.
Pam has over 16 years of human resources experience in recruitment and retention, human capital management, absence and disability management and diversity training. She earned her Senior Professional Human Resources certification from SHRM in 2008 and held a Professional Human Resources certification for 9 years prior. Pam first joined SHRM in 1997. She has worked in the aviation, healthcare, defense and insurance industries. Pam currently works for a government contractor. She has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and completed her junior year toward a B.S. degree in Nursing at the University of Central Florida.
Dona Gaynor is the Director of Career Services and Cooperative Education at the Florida Institute of Technology where she manages services to assist students and alumni with job search skills and career path development and assists employers with new graduate recruitment. Dona has a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. She is currently the Past President of the Florida Career Professionals Association (FCPA) and is active in the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). In her free time, Dona is a Tai Chi Instructor at the Wah Lum Kung Fu and Tai Chi School of Melbourne.
Andrew has previously served as President, Vice President of Programs and has been a member of the SBSHRM and National SHRM for approximately 10 years. Andy works with the law firm Ford & Harrison in Melbourne. He represents private and public employers in all areas of employment and labor. He regularly represents employers in employment and labor related lawsuits in state and federal courts and in investigations and charges before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, the U.S. Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board, the National Mediation Board, and the Florida Public Employees Relations Commission. He holds the highest rating assigned by Martindale-Hubbell and is Florida Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law. He is also a charter member of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys.
Jacqueline has 12 years of HR experience at the exempt level. Employed since 2003 with ISGN Fulfillment Solutions, formally Fiserv FulfillmentServices as the HR Manager. Prior experience includes: Telecommunications, Staffing, Media and Hospitality. Jacqueline received her MA in Organizational Leadership and Behavior from Southern Christian University located in Birmingham, AL. and her BA from the Union Institute and University; Cincinnati, OHIO with a dual BA degree in Business Management and Legal Studies. Jacqueline also received her PHR certification in May 2002. She has been a member in good standing with SBSHRM since 1998. She has served on this board as Web Chair, VP of Programs, and Legislative Co-chair. She is a national SHRM member. She has been in the Human Resources profession for 18 years focusing on general Human Resource Administration and Compliance.
Brittany is currently employed by Christie Dental Partners Inc. and works in their Human Resource, Corporate Development, and Marketing departments. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2007 with a major in Business and minors in Economics and Marketing. Brittany's experience includes employee engagement, employee performance, affiliation and integration, product roll outs, patient/customer retention, internal and patient marketing, HRIS training, and corporate event planning. In her free time she enjoys running long distance races, going to church, playing soccer, and attending live sporting events.
Jodi has over 15 years of experience in human resources with a focus in recruitment and business development. Prior to her current role as Consultant for HRC-Partners, she worked as Corporate Director of Recruitment with Tandem Health Care, Sr. Project Director with Recourse Communications, Regional Marketing Director, with Sun Healthcare and Regional Human Resources Director for NovaCare.
Jodi is PHR Certified and has been a long standing member of SHRM. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors Degree in Business from Barry University in Miami.
Jodi shares her life with a loving family which includes her husband and two retired rescued grey hounds.
Rose Marie is currently with the Brevard Workforce. Prior to that she was with Spherion Staffing for eleven years. Prior to that she was with Lord & Taylor Department Stores for ten years as the Director of Human Resources at the Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvanna Distribution Center and a Human Resource Generalist in Miami, Florida West Hartford, Connecticut and Atlanta, Georgia. She has been a long standing member of both the SHRM and SBSHRM organization as well as an Ambassador for the Melbourne-Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of Florida State University.
Donna is the Human Resources Director at HealthSouth Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital in Melbourne. Donna has her BBA from Eastern Michigan University. She has achieved "Life Certification" SPHR status and was originally certified in 1995. She has previously served as President, President Elect and Secretary of SBSHRM and is a past president of the Treasure Coast Human Resources Association. She has also served on the Space Coast HR Conference and the Florida State Council. She has been in the Human Resources profession for 30 years over various industries.
Originally pursuing the medical field, Monica started working for Riverside National Bank in 1998. She has always had a passion for helping people. Monica started as a teller during her college years; within a year becoming Teller Supervisor and two years later, she became a Branch Manager. Monica is presently the Affirmative Action Officer and Recruiting Manager for the dedicated community bank. She has over five years of experience in Human Resources and ten years of experience in Management. Monica has her Associate of Science in Medical and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from FMU. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. In her spare time she likes to travel, play tennis, and enjoy life.
Terri has over 25 years experience in Human Resources and is President of Roosa and Company, Inc, a contracting/consulting firm. Prior to starting her company, she worked for various divisions of Harris Corporation in HR functions including talent acquisition, retention and outplacement; benefits, compensation, and training. As a contractor/consultant, Terri has experience in numerous project areas including policy development, HRIS assignments, career development website, leadership development processes, rewards and recognition. She received a BA in Psychology from the University of Florida and a MBA in Human Resource Management from Florida Tech. Terri has served on the SBSHRM board of directors as past V.P. Programs and President.
