As a national SHRM member, your dues with our Chapter would only be $25.00 per year, a small investment in your future. Since we are a 100% chapter, National membership in the SHRM is a requirement for joining our local chapter.
Our chapter, an affiliate of the National Society for Human Resources Management, Inc. has been a fast growing organization that now comprises 100+ members representing over 100 companies in our area. Our members are from Cocoa, Melbourne, Palm Bay, Rockledge, Sebastian and Vero Beach. Our current president, Shelley Fick, oversees a very dynamic board of directors who continue to steer our organization to meet the needs of its members.
Your everyday, ever-increasing responsibilities as a human resource professional require that you stay current on the latest HR trends in order to interpret and apply them to meet your own company’s needs. Membership in our organization will help you meet those needs and provide you with valuable tools that enhance your own professional growth.
Each month our chapter hosts a membership meeting with programs and speakers on a variety of timely subjects ranging from organizational development, diversity, training, legal issues and how to survive in today’s hectic and ever changing world of human resources management.
With your chapter membership you will receive our newsletter and exposure to other materials through your networking with other members.
Monthly luncheon meetings are conveniently held the second Thursday of each month at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club. Cost to members is $20.00 and $30.00 for guests. You may review our web site at www.sbshrm.org to find out about meeting dates, locations, programs and other items of interest.

Types of Membership
SBSHRM, Inc. Professional Membership: Required: The individual applying for SBSHRM, Inc. membership must also be a current member of the national Society for Human Resources (SHRM) professional organization (www.shrm.org ). Membership shall be limited to individuals who demonstrate a bona fide interest in human resource management & the mission of the chapter. For example; this may include labor attorneys representing management, college/university placement directors, representatives of temporary agencies, or individuals who perform human resources functions in an organization which does not have dedicated human resources staff. All members may have the right to vote and may hold office in SBSHRM, Inc.
Student Membership: This Membership shall include individuals who are actively enrolled full-time in human resources related degree programs at a college or university level or are members of any student chapter that is affiliated with SHRM. Student members may not vote nor be an officer.
SBSHRM, Inc. Memberships run on a Calendar Year - Jan - Dec.
